Junior Altar Servers
Altar Servers may be boys or girls who are in the fourth grade or higher level of school. The Altar Server assist the priest during liturgy and after instruction, training and commissioning by the parish will serve the altar during Sunday mass or at special liturgical celebrations for the Sacraments.
Altar Servers sign-up to serve at Christmas, Holy Week, Easter and Holy Days but are assigned to the schedule of masses in a rotating basis.
Altar Servers may request to be assigned
to the same mass as their family members who may be another Altar Server, an Extra-Ordinary Minister of the Eucharist, or Reader (Lector). Contact Fr. Brian C. Sullivan at 973-427-1478 or email: Father Brian
Adult Altar Servers
Altar Servers may be men or women of any age. The Altar Server assist the priest during liturgy and after instruction, training and commissioning by the parish will serve the altar during Funeral masses.
